Your people.
Your SPOT.
A SPOT is financial help between people who know and trust each other. Spot-Ya is being developed to help keep the details clear.

Helping each other should bring us closer.
We all have people we turn to when life gets difficult, including family, friends, and trusted connections who help us navigate life. Sometimes, that support means spotting someone money when they need it most.
Spot-Ya grew out of real-life situations: helping someone financially, waiting on promised payments, and seeing how unclear expectations can strain a relationship.
That is why, here at Vinyan Technologies, we developed the Spot-Ya app: to help people create clear agreements, track payments, and communicate when plans change.
Two people. A shared understanding.
The Spotter is the person providing financial help.
The Spotee is the person receiving that help and agreeing to repay it.
The app’s purpose is to help both people understand the arrangement and keep track of its progress.
Spot-Ya is owned and operated by Vinyan Technologies LLC.
From the agreement to the final payment.
The following describes the core experience we are developing for Spot-Ya. Feature availability will be identified in the app when it is offered.
Connect with people you know.
Build a network of trusted connections. Spot-Ya is centered on arrangements between people who know one another, rather than a marketplace for finding unknown lenders.
Document the agreement.
Record the amount and agreed repayment terms in a SPOT Agreement. Clear expectations at the beginning give both people a reference they can return to later.
Track repayment progress.
Keep track of outstanding balances and repayment records. Partial payments should be easier to follow, with a clearer picture of what has been paid and what remains.
Communicate when plans change.
Use the relevant product tools to keep due dates and requested changes clear. An extension or revised arrangement should be understood by the people involved.
Paid outside the app?
Keep track here.
Repayment does not always happen in the same place. Someone may pay you back in cash, by check, through a bank transfer, or using another payment app.
Spot-Ya’s manual tracking experience is designed to let users record those payments against their arrangement. Users may also record the agreed value of goods or services accepted as repayment.
Recording an entry does not transfer funds or independently verify that a payment has occurred. The people involved remain responsible for accurate records and confirming their arrangement.
Keep the conversation grounded in the details.
A friend pays back $100 today and plans to pay the rest next Friday. A family member needs to discuss a new date. A payment arrives through a different service.
These are the ordinary situations that can become difficult when records are scattered. Spot-Ya is intended to help bring the agreement, payment history, and remaining balance together.
The goal is clarity. Better organization can make the details easier to discuss while helping people care for the relationship behind the SPOT.
What Spot-Ya does and what users decide.
Spot-Ya provides technology for documenting and tracking arrangements. It does not make loans, guarantee repayment, or become a party to agreements between users.
Users decide whether to provide or request support and remain responsible for understanding their commitments. App records do not replace independent legal, financial, or tax advice when it is needed.
Any payment-processing features, fees, account requirements, or additional services will be described in the applicable product terms and notices before use. This corporate page does not offer a payment service or accept payments.
Questions about Spot-Ya
Is Spot-Ya the lender?
No. Spot-Ya is a technology platform owned and operated by Vinyan Technologies LLC. Financial arrangements are between the individuals involved.
Does the app guarantee repayment?
No. Documenting an arrangement and tracking progress cannot guarantee another person’s ability or willingness to repay.
Can users record payments made elsewhere?
Manual tracking is part of the core experience being developed. An outside payment entry records information; it does not move money.
